We have specified and built various cold rooms for end users working in research & development. Temperature requirements of our bespoke rooms have ranged from -40degC to +40degC. We have recently delivered all specialist coldstore requirements at the new Aberystwyth Innovation and Enterprise Campus (AberInnovation). In total 12 specialist temperature controlled spaces were constructed including the controlled environment for the prestige Seed Biobank.
Key specification requirements included run and standby operation with full automated change over, close temperature control at ± 1°Cat the control sensor, varying space temperatures from -23degC to +40degC and humidity control for seed storage rooms at 20%RH, ± 3%RH at the control sensor.
